Carriers’ Conditions

Protect carriers not the goods

Are usually limited by weight rather than value
– as little as £1.30 per kg.

Offer liability for loss or damage only whilst goods are in carriers’ custody.

Exclude liability for:
– Circumstances beyond the control of carriers
– General Average and Salvage contributions.

And
