Amie Parsons Re-Joins NMU in Development Underwriter Role

We’re pleased to announce the arrival of Amie Parsons, who will assume a Development Underwriter role based out of the Birmingham office.

Re-joining with a wealth of experience, Amie, previously held an underwriting position with the company between 2008 and 2012, leaving to develop her career as a Senior Construction and Engineering Underwriter in Australia. Returning to the UK in 2015, she held a role as a New Business Underwriter from June 2015, before being promoted to Business Development Manager in December 2016.

Although specialising in engineering insurance, Amie, will support Birmingham region brokers giving them access to NMUs full product range. NMU is an award-winning provider of insurance solutions across a range of product lines, including cargo, freight liabilities, marine trade, engineering classes, marine equipment, stand-alone terrorism, and motorsport.

“The company has come a long way since I was here in 2012”.

Executive Director, Nick Limb, commented on the appointment “I am delighted that Amie has decided to re-join us after a few years away developing her career and she is back at an exceptionally exciting time for NMU. Our Engineering account has been a major success over the last 14 years and the account continues to grow with fantastic support from our parent Company Munich Re. We have brand new wordings and a major capacity boost coming for 2018 so Amie joining us could not come at a better time. There are many new entrants to this market but at NMU, our customers have come to expect award winning service that can be relied upon and will continue to be improved for many years to come”.

Amie, added “I’m excited to be back at NMU. The company has come a long way since I was here in 2012 and I’m looking forward to the opportunity of working with the team again, promoting NMUs expanding range of innovative products and services”.
